THE GLOW VOLUNTEER PROGRAM EXPERIENCE

In kicking off 2013, we're excited to announce our revamped volunteer program, Glow.

Glow volunteers get the best of all worlds! They gain valuable experience helping to execute a major music festival, create incredible memories and friendships, and get free camping and festival access when they are not working! Glow team members light up the weekend as they lend a helping hand, front row center!

To ensure everyone has a successful, fun and safe weekend, please thoroughly read the Volunteer Terms and Conditions located at the bottom of this page. You must be at least 18 years of age on or before June 21, 2013.

Why Volunteer?

In exchange for signing up to be a part of Glow, each volunteer receives a complimentary General Admission 3-Day Pass and, while supplies last, complimentary camping accommodations, a total value of $386. While you are off the volunteer clock, you can attend Firefly for free! In addition, the Glow Volunteer Program is bringing you more volunteer opportunities, prime camping location, improved amenities, daily energizing activities, multiple limited edition 2013 Glow t-shirts, and the list goes on!

All volunteer shift combinations are predetermined to ensure everyone has equal time on the clock. This means no one is ever forced to miss three nights of headliners and it keeps you from working late one night and at the crack of dawn the following day. We want all our volunteers to be able to enjoy their weekends too! Glow Volunteer Program opportunities are separated into the teams below. Based on the overarching teams, individual volunteer positions will be assigned to you on or before June 6, 2013.

Please be prepared to check in at the main volunteer tent ONE hour prior to your shift start time.

FAQ

Can you coordinate my shift with my friends or change me to another ?

With thousands of applications, we cannot coordinate your assignment with a family member's or friend's.

I APPLIED AND WAS ACCEPTED, BUT I CAN ONLY MAKE IT TWO DAYS. CAN MY FRIEND FILL IN FOR ME DURING MY THIRD SHIFT? CAN I WORK TWO SHIFTS IN ONE DAY TO MAKE UP FOR IT?

We really appreciate your offer and dedication to the Glow Volunteer Team, however, every volunteer must work one shift per day. If you can not fulfill your three shifts, please let us know at volunteer@fireflyfestival.com on or before May 6, 2013. If you decline the opportunity to fulfill these requirements after May 6, 2013, you will be in violation of Firefly Volunteer Application Terms and Coordinations, resulting in a charge of $238.00 to the credit card with which you used to apply.

What do I do with my car...

We're camping and carpooling in one vehicle: You are able to park your vehicle right next to your tent. Follow directions from our staff upon arrival.

We're camping and taking multiple cars: Upon proof of credentials, a complimentary Staff parking lot is available to volunteer camping groups that have traveled in more than one car. Cars may park overnight in this lot.

I'm commuting each day: Upon proof of credentials, there is a complimentary Staff parking lot available to volunteer.

When do I show up for my shift?

Please arrive one hour before your assigned volunteer shift begins. As we get closer to the big weekend, additional shift check in details will be sent!

I'm an EMT/Nurse/Stage Tech/Chef/Dolphin Trainer, will you hire me for this event?

We greatly appreciate your request, however the Glow Volunteer Program is solely for the positions listed above. Feel free to check out the "Vendor" tab under "Get Involved".
